Dr. Trujanovic had expressed his excitement by this milestone:
“It is said that an anesthesiologist is to a patient what an attorney is to the accused. We do our best to make sure our patients get by with as little harm done as possible during any procedure, and hope to have things turn out better than when we had first begun. Not long into my residency, I came to understand that including regional anesthesia in procedures is a very effective, if not the only way, to ensure my patients don’t experience any pain while in surgery. Regional anesthesia doesn’t only assist me in that, however – it’s also widely known that using regional anesthesia minimizes the intraoperative and postoperative complications that may have followed otherwise. Regional anesthesia is also an important tool in relieving chronic pain – called multimodal analgesia pain management in such a context. It’s an amazing feeling, to do a block and hear back from an owner about their first walk with their dog through the woods in the past 3 years with no side effects in sight. Given that regional anesthesia in veterinary medicine is a hot topic right now, expanding like no other branch yet, I feel it vital to share it with my colleagues across the globe. NYSORA really blew me away with their concept which incorporated both the newest applications and learning techniques in regional anesthesia, as well as the system of regular updates that keeps up with the moving trends. It was my pleasure to have had the opportunity to work with a team of such experts from whom I learned a lot while preparing this app for launching.
