As a PGY-4 anesthesiology resident, NYSORA has always been my primary resource for everything related to regional anesthesia. Their website has also always served as a quick, convenient reference. While I do love the accessibility of the digital platforms that NYSORA offers on desktop and mobile, it is really wonderful to have this beautiful book that's complete with high resolution, printed photographs. This manual is big enough to display large images and illustrations, but also lightweight enough that it's easy to transport and be a convenient reference in the hospital.

As a die-hard NYSORA follower (for probably 5 or 6 years now), I purchased the NYSORA Manual knowing it was going to be a reliable reference. This guide actually went above and beyond my expectations. It's quite literally FULL of pictures that describe every single step of the blocks. The techniques are described in a way that makes this a textbook that you can ACTUALLY use. And on top of that, it's a masterpiece visually. I'd go as far as to say that this book is set to become the centerpiece of my collection. I'll definitely be buying the hardcover copy too.

As the manual is the utmost practical textbook, you’d wish that all your medical textbooks were this practical and eminently applicable in clinical practice!
