Anesthesia is increasingly shaped by technology — but its real value is seen when that technology is applied in real-world workflows and evaluated by the clinicians who depend on it. At NYSORA’s events, new innovations are displayed, experienced, discussed, and refined in direct collaboration between industry and the anesthesia community.

At the Anesthesia Summit ‘25, Konica Minolta showcased two of its portable ultrasound systems — the MX1 Platinum and HS2 — designed specifically for point-of-care environments. These systems include an integrated camera function, making them particularly valuable for education, training, and procedural documentation.

“The atmosphere is very nice and friendly, with people joining and participating in conversation. Our MX1 Platinum and HS2 systems are portable devices, especially designed for the point-of-care environment. The camera function available on both is very useful for educational purposes. We have four pillars that our systems are based on — starting with image quality. Konica Minolta began as a camera and film company, and the technologies developed for film are now integrated into our ultrasound systems, giving us exceptional image quality. The second pillar is ease of use, with simple needle visualization and technologies ideal for education,”

— Amal Yaseen, Product & Business Development Manager Ultrasound EMEA

Through live demonstrations and case-based discussions, participants saw how these technologies enhance accuracy, reduce variability, and support patient safety. The focus extended beyond technical features, exploring how imaging integrates seamlessly into anesthesia workflows, from pre-procedure planning to real-time decision-making.

For NYSORA, creating this type of exchange is central to the event’s mission: aligning clinical expertise with technological capabilities to advance the standard of care. NYSORA’s global symposiums and summits provide year-round opportunities for innovators like Konica Minolta to engage directly with the anesthesia community.

With NYSORA Anesthesia Summit 2026 set for Leuven (June 12–14), and additional Summits scheduled in Sydney (March 27–29) and Rio de Janeiro (September 18–20), the stage is set for a year of international collaboration. The NYSORA events offer technology leaders like Konica Minolta multiple opportunities to demonstrate innovation in diverse clinical and cultural settings.
