What is a CME activity? A Continuing Medical Education(CME) activity serves to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession.

Why do physicians need continuing medical education (CME) credit? Physicians use CME credit to demonstrate that they have participated in educational activities and obtained CME credit to document meeting the requirements of state medical boards, medical specialty societies, specialty boards, hospital medical staffs, the Joint Commission, insurance groups, and others

Who accredits the Course? Accreditation by the EACCME means that the CME/CPD activity provided is of high scientific value, is free of commercial bias and promotes active adult learning. This is of paramount importance to doctors who need to report to their National Accreditation Authority on their CME/CPD activity over a certain period of time, and this even more now that many national systems are (becoming) mandatory and not voluntary. By attending an EACCME accredited event, they will be able to obtain European CME credits (ECMEC) which are recognised not only in a majority of European countries (with which the EACCME has signed agreements), but also in the USA and Canada. By handing in their EACCME certificate to their National Accreditation Authority, their credits will automatically be recognised and converted into national credits.

What documentation does a physician receive for participating in a certified CME activity provided by an accredited CME provider? A CME certificate will be issued and can be used to prove attendance.

  • Analyze relevant sonoanatomy and anatomical pathways to support accurate selection and performance of upper extremity, lower extremity, truncal, and fascial plane regional anesthesia techniques.
  • Differentiate between regional anesthesia approaches for specific surgical and analgesic indications, including upper limb, abdominal, hip, knee, foot, and ankle procedures, using evidence-informed clinical decision-making.
  • Apply practical strategies to optimize ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia techniques, including diaphragm-sparing approaches, block selection, procedural workflow, and troubleshooting in clinical practice.
  • Evaluate the role of joint innervation, multimodal analgesia, and contemporary denervation techniques, including radiofrequency and cryoneurolysis, in perioperative and chronic pain management pathways.
  • Integrate safety principles, complication avoidance strategies, and clinical algorithms into the delivery of ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia to improve procedural efficiency and patient outcomes.

The earlybird discount is US$995. Registration must be made prior to enter March 8th,2027.

All cancellations have to be either made using the view or modify link on the bottom of your confirmation email, or in writing to [email protected]. Cancellation terms:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable.

All registered participants will receive an email with access details for their complimentary 3-month subscription.
The group access email is sent approximately one month before the event and includes everything you need to log in.
If you do not receive this email or experience any login issues, please contact us for assistance.

If we ever need to cancel a course, we will let you know as early as possible. You will be able to choose between a full refund of your registration fee or a transfer to another NYSORA program. In addition we would offer an extension of your complimentary subscription. Please note that we cannot reimburse travel or accommodation costs, so we strongly recommend considering travel insurance to protect any non-refundable expenses.
