About NYSORA

NYSORA stands for The New York School of Regional Anesthesia, a highly acclaimed, global teaching program in Regional Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine. NYSORA was founded in 1994 in New York, NY with the goal of advancing regional anesthesia and acute pain management and providing education to clinicians, nurses and other perioperative patient care providers worldwide. Since, NYSORA has hosted countless meetings, workshops and seminars in the US and abroad and has become a household name for education in regional anesthesia and pain medicine worldwide. Over the years, the NYSORA’s website (www.NYSORA.com) grew to an immense weekly readership of 10,000 and established itself as the standard web-based medical information resource in most universities and practices throughout the world. Currently, NYSORA hosts three major Annual Symposia: A Pan-American symposium in New York City (December), Pan-European symposium in London in November (NysoraEurope.com) and Pan-Asian symposium at rotating locations throughout Asia (NysoraAsia.com). NYSORA also hosts several workshops on peripheral nerve year-round in the US and abroad. The NYSORA’s First World Anesthesia Congress (NWAC) March 7-12, 2010 in Dubai, UAE is another attest to its global presence and the leadership role in advancing Anesthesiology at large.
