FOR OPIATE TOLERANT ONLY
PCA Hydromorphone 10mg/cc (custom made by pharmacy)
Basal: to be determined
Demand: 1mg is minimum
Lockout: 8 minutes
4 Hour maximum: to be determined
THIS DOSING MUST BE DISCUSSED WITH
THE ACUTE PAIN ATTENDING
(Loading hydromorphone 1mg = 5-7mg MSO4
Set demand hydromorphone 1mg = 3mg MSO4)
