PERIPHERAL NERVE
BLOCKS/CATHETERS - (con't)
TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT
Premedicate with sustained release oxycodone and rofecoxib
PRE-OP: Femoral nerve catheter dosed with 0.25%-0.5% ropivacaine 20cc
INTRA-OP: Spinal or GETA
POST-OP: The femoral catheter issued with either continuous infusion of
ropivacaine with demand dose or with only a patient controlled demand dose.
