Tony Tsai, MD

Dr. Tony Tsai attended Johns Hopkins University and graduated with a BA in Biophysics. Upon finishing medical school at the University of North Carolina, he completed a general surgery internship at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, and then went on to anesthesiology training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. His fellowship in regional anesthesia was performed under the guidance of Dr. Admir Hadzic at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where his research interests focused on the detection and prevention of neurologic injury during the performance of peripheral nerve blockade, and the relationship between stimulating current and needle position during peripheral nerve blockade. Currently Dr. Tsai works as an attending anesthesiologist at Beth Israel Medical Center, Petrie Division in New York, NY.
