Little is said though about USS guided blocks.

Nerve stimulators are useful but remain a 'blind' form of localisation.

USS has the theoretical advantage of being able to inject local anaesthetic near the nerve in a 'visible' fashion. This should reduce the risk of nerve injury.(?)
